Deep purple in color with a purplish rim. Nice color. Teeth staining color.

Beautiful fruity nose of blackberries, prunes, figs, black currants, raisins, vanilla, cooked raspberries, eaucaliptus, earth, alcohol, vinaigrette, light vegetables, graphite, leather, smoke, toasted oak, chocolates, mocha, spices and peppercorn.

Full bodied, extracted and bold, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, sweet plums, cherry pie, dried figs, tobacco, spices, chocolates, peppercorn, dark coffee, tobacco, wood, licorice and vanilla.

Long finish with firm tannins (after an hour) and cherries.

This is a wonderful Petite Sirah from Paso Robles, California. Well balanced with nice complexity.
A little jammy, but Very tasty with lots of chocolate and coffee notes.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up. Enjoyable by itself as a sipping wine. After 2 hours in a decanter, it gets less jammy with hugh tannins. So give it some time...

This would age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

14.7% alcohol by volume.
