ONX
Praetorian Tempranillo Blend
Paso Robles, Central Coast, California, USA
Really benefits from being opened over night. The fruit comes out a lot more the second day.

Oct 27th, 2020My least favorite Onx so far. Sort of one dimensional. A little stoic and flat, with lots of pepper on the finish. Opened up a bit on the second day, showing more fruits and better balance. But still not a favorite.

Tempranillo forward but the Mourvèdre comes through at the end. Nice spice and full-bodied.

Needed air. Tad reductive on opening, but blew off with a firm decant.
Profile has leaned out. Not as rich or full as last year’s bottle, but still a nice drink ... thinking it may be time to pop the cork if you have one.
