I'm generally not a huge zinfandel fan but this one ticks all the right boxes. I get mostly blue fruits, the French oak is nice and subtle, some earthiness and red meat smells as well. On the palate it has that odd zin character of medium plus acid and medium plus tannins but 5 years has given them enough time to harmonize.
