Opened last bottle this evening. Still structured but the tannins mellow and become less disjointed as it warms and aerates. Clove, cardamom, spicy black olive. A bit of tannic dustiness clouds the finish but let's pour a second glass and see what happens next.

Jun 2nd, 2017Cracked a 2009 Cab Franc tonight. Quite nice. Easy tannins, solid acidity. Still bracing but not overwhelming at all. The more I pour, the more I adore. Good job Mica. Loving the classic earth and green olive, dusty plum. Well balanced.. Picking Franc at the right time is really every thing.
