Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Fruity nose with lots of chocolate notes and oak, licorice, spices and tobacco.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, plums, currants, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.

Medium finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.

This is an easy drinking red wine from Paso Robles. Fruit forward and chocolatey. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and rich.

Good by itself or with food, and a good party wine.

Lagrein grapes were aged for 20 months in oak barrels. A tiny production of only 600 bottles.
