Brilliant, medium plus density blue/black at the core is concentrated to a medium cranberry meniscus. Intesely aromatic (the nose reminded me of a Chinato) highly perfumed violet, juniper, rose petal, basil and tomato leaf. Medium body, medium plus mouthwatering acid is well balanced with the alcohol (13.5%) - no heat. Medium plus tannin is ripe but chalky, slow to emerge, and well integrated. Aromas on the nose are confirmed on palate with a mouthfilling perfume and a discreet bitterness.
