Aged well over last 7-8 years. There’s some oak, smoke, ripe berry with rounded tannins. Sharp and smooth simultaneously. Great with food or on its own.

Aug 27th, 2023If the wine says it’s from Rockpile, get it. . . Or I will! Was introduced to this region a decade ago and love the wines. For a 15.3% alcohol, this felt lighter, almost 2-3% less. Flavors are blending well, still has a strong fruit forward but the jammy sensation has tempered. Color starting to change slightly. This may have several more years and glad I have more bottles.
