Smell has lightly stewed blackberries. Slight oak and pepper smell. Taste has is full bodied and well balanced. Slight acidity and no detectable tannins. Paired well with mushroom wine steak over mashed potatoes. Would also go well with other beef dishes. Finish is medium and smooth. Highly suggest this wine.
