"The Wine of Transylvania" from Romania. This one was waiting for an occasion. That occasion turned out to be a random Tuesday dinner with tacos. This one to me was all about its contrasting deep, deep color but uplifting mouthfeel. Only medium bodied. Is that a disappointment? Not really. Blackberries and sharp number two pencil here. I quite liked it. Fun based on its origin, but it would have been a cool wine regardless.
