Mar 11th, 2022This SCP blend continues to impress. An uncommon blend of greatness. Syrah, Cab Sav and Petite Verdot. I want to swim in this.

Jun 20th, 20202017 opened 2020. Mint, lavender, and allspice on the nose. Cab fruit on the front, but the tannic structure has the silkiness and medium body of a Rhone-blend. Leather and a refined calcaire at the top of the palate. Soft mineral notes at the end. Some of the reviewers have recommended a long decanting time for this wine. Frankly, I think this one is more interesting 10 or 15 minutes out of the bottle then it is after an hour in the carafe, because a lot of those interesting high notes in this wine dissipate fast.
