2nd Growth from this producer. At peak drinking: the eight years burnishes all the old school Bordeaux parts, but for me it’s that cassis fruit core which makes it sing. Oh, & for 20$!

👀 Beautiful ruby colour not too deep.
👃🏻 Fresh fruits, red fruit, cherry, smoke, vanilla, oak.
👅 Dry with high acidity and pretty low tanins on a medium body wine. Beautiful equilibrium but a bit too short on the finish.
📝 Very good quality wine, really easy to drink. Almost Pinot Noir like when blind tasted just with more body and deeper colour. Perfect to drink now and might be aged a bit more.
