Cidre Basque Petillant

Semi-dry cider from Basque Country (France). Light on the carbonation, not much head on pour. Golden yellow with little browning. Nice focused floral note in nose. Good flavor profile if a bit rough with pulp astringency. Very nice balance of acid, sweetness and textures from bubbles and, yes, the astringency. A well-crafted drink if rustic in style
