Would be more interesting if winemaker influence weren't so obvious. Lots of oak, very ripe and extracted. Well made for its style, but want to see more varietal/regional expression.

Deep, inky highlights. Caffè espresso, chocolate covered cherry. Persistent & with nice acid-alcohol interplay.
