Another monthly WTF Group meet up. Northern Rhône vs Southern Rhône, blind as usual.
I got more northern Rhône style notes on this (white pepper) than I did the hermitage. A bit more well structured and could go a few more years for sure.

July's monthly WTF group meet up. Blind tasting with a theme of French wines. Bravo to all those who joined...great wines!
One of the few Cote Rotie's I've had. Very enjoyable Syrah but I guessed Grenache Blend. Spice to it, mainly white pepper. Vanilla and full bodied. Others compared it to an Australian blend. Lots going on and definitely delicious. Nice @Bill Makens !
