A Scottish Stout that is aged in Irish whisky barrels.
Colour is deepest brown.
A faint aroma of sweet chocolate, dark bread and coffee. There is not an immediate whisky aroma.
A balanced, sweet taste of roasted malts, mild chocolate, wood spice and vanilla. Medium- full body with medium carbonation.
A bitter, dry finish of whisky and chocolate. As the Stout warmed slightly the whisky flavour became more noticeable.

Irish whiskey cask aged stout. Forgot I had this one prev. Enjoyed this time more than u recall the prev. Theres complexity to it and not close to the cloying qualities I often get from Brbn barrel aged stuff.
