Grupo Penaflor S.A.
ED Edmundo Cabernet Sauvignon Blend
This is a very nice Cabernet based red blend from Argentina.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and dry on the palate.
Showing plums, blueberries, black currants, vanilla, leather, earth, vegetables, oak, dark chocolates, coffee, bitter herbs and peppercorn.
Still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature, but starting to show complexity with a nice and elegant mouthfeel.
An interesting blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Syrah and 15% Malbec.
14% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Deep purple in color; blackberries, black cherries, plums, and a little black pepper on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like plums, berry jam, and a hint of green bell pepperwith a long finish; tabacco notes on the nose after some aeration. Nellie said it's drinkable at around 62 degrees F.
