Subtle, tight aroma of smoke & tart cherry. Tar, black cherry, cassis, & plum up front. Dark & brooding. Thin, flat finish with notes of gravel, cigarette ash, & raspberry Kool-Aid. Lacks complexity. Needs more... more acidity, more tannin, more of something.

Maple jammy goodness. Very nicely balanced not overly peppery, how have I never heard of this one? Update: Loving it again at a 2nd visit 3 months later.
