2006 vintage. The unlabeled bottle on the left. This one is brandy fortified late harvest petite sirah. Very pleasant, styled much more like a traditional port than their regular late harvest petite sirah which is not fortified. Some heat evident here, though it doesn’t detract from the fruit. Smooth and sweet with a medium short finish.

Dec 9th, 20182006 vintage. Lovely late harvest dessert wine. Violets, juicy, sweet with no jarring notes. Label states 19.6% ABV but no evidence of heat on the palate. Smooth.
