Not bad. A little too fruit forward for my tastes. Missing the smoke/pepper tones I like in a good Zin.

The label I just photographed says its a zin yet everyone here is calling it a pinot noir, as is the app. The funny thing is that it does taste like more a pinot noir than a zin, label and bottle shape notwithstanding. I lucked out in this case because it was really a pinot that I wanted in the first place. Limited on this occasion to one nearby grocery store and one liquor store which really focuses more on ctaft beer than wine, this zinfandel was about the only red that met my standards of label, origin and price.
