Slightly cloudy, hazy deep purple. Little rim variation. Heavy staining and slow legs. Intense nose of alcohol before stewed black and blue fruit, menthol, and faint white flowers. On the palate, blackberry jam, small white flowers, ash. High tannins and alcohol. Medium acidity. Nice and filling. What a wine to drink the first night after a dentist appointment.
