Whiffs of freshly cut oak hover above concentrated red and black fruit aromas and flavors. Beautiful, refreshing mouthfeel with impressive texture and mouthwatering acid. The 14.5% abv is nearly undetectable. This wine, at 11 years, gives the impression of just getting started. Elegant, balanced, concentrated. I have to think that there are a lot of zin producers out there who would love to make wines like this.
