Beautiful nose of blackberries, blueberries, figs, plums, cherries, strawberries, Oak, licorice, vanilla and peppercorn.
Medium to full bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, cherries,
Cranberries, oak, vanilla, earth and peppercorn.
Medium finish with full, angular tannins and black pepper.
This Petite Syrah is still young and unbalanced, but will be better in 2 years from now.
90% Petite Syrah and 10% Petite Verdot. Aged in mostly new French oak barrels.
From a very tiny winery. Only 600 bottles were made. This one is numbered 140. I had the pleasure to drink it with the wine maker.
