Dow's
Vintage Porto
A bit lollipop, tart lollipop, if truth be told. Provenance? I didn't buy it when I graduated from high school this year, so who knows? Still enjoy it.

Jun 6th, 2015This is what aged port should taste like. Velvety black fruit. Vanilla. Full mouthfeel and long finish. Not over the hill one bit. A real treat.

May 25th, 2015[8 hour decant] Impenetrable, super opaque dark purple color, seriously, color is SO DARK it looks like 5W-30 motor oil after 10-15 thousand miles, lovely raisin aromas and flavors, tending a little dry as Dow’s VP does, super long, lingering finish, if any Vintage Porto could easily go 100+ years, this might be it!! Seriously, the color alone suggests a VERY YOUNG barrel sample, AMAZING!!

Dec 31st, 2024Will savor when Baltimore Orioles next win the World Series, or on my deathbed, whichever comes first.

Dec 16th, 2016Felt a little "watered down." Might have just been the bottle (a 375) but the palate just seemed mild and weak. doesn't seem to be holding up to well.
