Mid ruby with a purple rim, violets, Victoria plums; dry, punchy tannins with a good taut ripe spicy red fruit with a hint of bitterness on the finish.

Mondeuse is an unusual varietal which is one of the reasons I enjoy it. This one isn't my fav but it paired well with an ancho chile and cocoa rubbed pork tenderloin. Smooth and lighter in color but flavorful and spicy
