Nov 16, 2017. Wish I'd read everyone's comments before opening. Curious, everyone notes the funky/weird taste, but then rates it as high as I would rate a good Bordeaux or Cotes du Rhone. Really? Not me. I decided to use it in a poached pear tart. Will bake tonight, hope it doesn't ruin the desert! Nov 19, 2017 update. Dessert was fabulous. Reduction cooked all the nastiness out of the wine. Don't buy this for the red wine poached pear tart dessert though, the tart will be as good with a much less expensive bottle!

The sour funk is strong with this one! Tart tart tart. But I like it very much. High acidity ftw

Gets unbelievably weird as it opens up to the point where it almost becomes undrinkable.

2013 vintage. Really well structured and tasty

Warm on the palate. Leaves an indescribable after taste which just entices you and sip some more.
