I was surprised to see the ratings so low from others. This wine was gorgeous. Calling it a baby chateaunuf du pape would not do it justice. This can go toe to toe with the real thing. I bought this 10 years ago (thanks JR) and it got buried at the bottom of my cellar and I forgot about it. Glad I did!

This wine is being poured down the drain. It starts dry and quickly becomes syrupy sweet, but then there is a chemical bitter finish. Something must have happened either to the vintage or this bottle.
