Gift from Putt. Like dirty meat. In a good way.

Found and opened 1/20/24 thought were long gone. Guess has a vertical. Dark red color and forested perfume nose. Drinking great.

New Year's Eve at Jerry and Barbara's house, Cape Cod. Lowell brought this bottle.

ML BD Newport 11/18/19. Friday night takeout dinner wine. Perfectly aged and drinking great. Earthy and spicy and great balance and length and paired well with the kalbe and chicken and pork. Great length.

CVed. Opened 11/30/16. Good nose of decaying Forest leaves and earth and spices and dark mature fruits. Palate that is full and still sense of soft tannins and savory complexity carrying through to finish with minerals and tobacco notes. Yum and worth the wait!

Feels like 95% of the stuff I've had recently from Charles Neal is a solid value. This is not in the 5%.
