Perfect with red meat (angus shoulder in my case).

Heavy in mouthfeel soft but rustic tannins. Hard to pin down but very tasty.

Nice meat wine, little more subdued and grippy than expected.

Very muted when opened. A much more balanced, nuanced and expressive wine on day 2.

Exactly what I want it to be. Perfectly ripe mixed berry, smoked meat, black olive, fresh herbs de Provence, generous on the nose, perfectly balanced on the palate. Wow.

Great example of a cdr village wine
