Domaine de La Sourde
Nectar de Vincent
Saint Pourçain AOC. Blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Tressallier which is a local varietal I had never heard of.
The nose is very mineral with chalk and limestone and lemon. The palate is made of a strong acid backbone and a thin matter. This is very fresh and the Sauvignon is much more present in mid palate with an herbal thing lurking backstage. The finish is rather quick with lemon and these herbal notes along some chalk notes. This is very refreshing and rather original without being great.
