A lovely Rhone. Dark fruit and lots of spice. A bit of sugar in the mid palate I'm not crazy about, but I could see how this is very pleasing to many different palates.

A pretty ok wine. This Rhine is a little sweeter than I'd expect or hope for and verges on light jammy-ness. The cherries and current are there but it lacks deeper baritone flavors. A fine wine to sip while you make dinner but not a show stopper.

Sweet and dark fruity palate. Strong, spicy finish. Sipped with a cheese plate before dinner.
