Conte di Bregonzo
Amarone della Valpolicella Corvina Blend
Great value for an amarone. Enjoyed by all. Will buy again. (Bought at Trader Joe's.) Loved 2012 vintage. Wish I could compare side by side.

Feb 20th, 2017Decent on the nose w/typical raisiny red fruit, pepper & damp Earth but the finish was very abrupt. Lacking in depth, concentration and finesse - but then again it was only $16

Jul 22nd, 2017A little light for an Amarone but still a nice drinkable wine.

Mar 31st, 2017Impressed. Big acidity for an Amorone, lower abv. Yet, deep dark fruit, dried herb, and rich tannins that were not out of control.

Feb 11th, 2017After doing some research on Amarone, I now get it. This is good stuff made from a traditional process of drying the grapes. It's heavy and little sweet but wonderful. I think it's best to drink it without food.
