Decent on the nose w/typical raisiny red fruit, pepper & damp Earth but the finish was very abrupt. Lacking in depth, concentration and finesse - but then again it was only $16

After doing some research on Amarone, I now get it. This is good stuff made from a traditional process of drying the grapes. It's heavy and little sweet but wonderful. I think it's best to drink it without food.
