Bourbon Barrel really adds a nice toasty dimension to a producer of already pretty awesome barleywine. This beer does not disappoint. Sweeter toasted cognac type notes up front. Lots of dark malty and more full-bodied front, and turning into a sharper middle and finish that is classic barleywine. Integrated perfectly!
