Single Vineyard Series Live Oak Vineyard Zinfandel

Ruby color as ruby should be. The Bing cherry, cranberry, strawberry and red plum are jammy as it should be. There's pink peppercorn as there should be. There's a surprise of just-after-rain wet earth and then the palate just explodes in jammy flavor, coating the mouth with soft tannins, as it should be.

Long finish and beautiful mouth feel. Zinfandel as it should be.

This wine surprised me because I know I loved it when we did a tasting there, but it had noticeable VA. It wasn’t undrinkable, and perhaps that was part of the winemaker’s plan, but I’d prefer less VA

Blueberries, tobacco, pepper spice in jammy sips with soft tannins and a clean finish that leave you wanting more

Almost semi sweet bouquet of plums. Big bold jammy upfront in your face and on your tongue. Softens after swirling and allowing it to breathe. Then you can taste the plums and tannins on the back.

Blueberry and black currant on the nose leads to a fruit forward full mouthed experience with blackberry jam and licorice. The tannins are mild and lead to a short well rounded finish bon your palate. One of my favorites.

The nose on this is scrumptious, and it tastes as good as it smells. It was our favorite tasting at the Cline family cellars.

Pre-Christmas dinner at Settimo Cielo. As always an excellent Zin from Cline.

Great aromas when pouring wine, fruit forward with a soft dry ending.
