Clear deep ruby with hints of garnet and thin watery rim.
Clean on the nose medium- aroma intensity developed and flavours of plum, black and red cherry under a blanket of leather and smoked meat. Dry on the palate medium acidity medium plus slightly rough tannin medium body medium alcohol. Do not sense much fruit if at all and only smoked meat and herbaceous dominated flavours and goes into a medium finish that quickly drops into bitterness in the back of the throat. Grapes likely unevenly ripen. Acceptable quality drink now if you just want to get the tipsy effect as it likely will not benefit from further aging.
