Château La Tessonnière
Cru Artisan Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

Very peculiar nose (I would never have placed it in medoc) with red fruits, a bit of toast, almond, tobacco. I would have placed it in Italy blind, wow! The palate is very well made but again nothing like something you would expect from a rive gauche wine. It's rather thin and very much acid driven, you could almost chew it. Raspberries, red currant, before a mid palate with a nice tannins layer that dries up with a dusty touch. Nice finish with the same red berries and that drying effect. Unexpected Bordeaux in a very nice style. You cannot feel the barrel aging at all, I like it very much
