Needs a good 30- 45 minutes in the decanter to open up to a smooth mouthfeel. Strong notes of black fruit and baking spices. While the Medium tannins linger through a long finish, it has the mouthfeel of a juicy merlot and a finish of a cab. Fantastic bottle for <$20 UPDATE: had a glass the next day after it was in a decanter for about 2 hours. WOW. So much more. Less Tannins, more spice, hints of vanilla, new baseball glove leather, tobacco along with the blackberries, black currants.

Medium bodied, feels a little thin. Dark cherries on the nose, taste of light fruit, very delicate yet has some complexity and fine tannins.
