The syrah really shows on the nose, with funky meaty goodness and a tinge of savory herb. The palate is light and peppery, the white pepper I associate work grenache. Perfect for relaxing on your patio with a cigar and book.

Older vintages of this Rhone wine used to have way more nose/taste/body. The past 2 yrs of this have dissapointed. no more than "meh". I used to ALWAYS have a bottle of this wine on hand, but no more.
