Blackberry and green pepper on both the nose and pallette. Plummy I suppose too. We unloaded our stuff into the cabin we're staying at and of the box of wine we brought along, this was the first we chose. An outstanding assortment of flavors here. The greens are intriguing in the mix, but it's all kept in line by tannins that are an ever present reminder that these flavor combinations don't happen by accident, but must be guided by someone dedicated to their craft of extracting them and keeping them contained. Very well done here.
