Bright hued red in the glass. Nose is full of lightly-toned fruit - apple, raspberry, with some wild herbs thrown in there too. On the palate the wine is quite surprisingly sweet, like cranberry juice, with little alcohol bite and medium minus acidity. No tannins to speak of, and a finish that is resoundingly cranberry juice. Not at all expected, but also not entirely unwelcome... I'm confused!
