Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Corvina Blend

This is a nice contemporary style Ripasso with 14.5%abv, high acidity, medium silky tannins and a sleek mouthfeel. Black cherry, sour cherry, plum, black raspberry, cocoa powder and a background hint of forest floor. I like the balance of the wine and despite the high alcohol it’s easy to drink with a roundness that is very appealing. Wonderfully fruity food wine.
