Vieilles Vignes Combe d'Orveau Chambolle-Musigny Pinot Noir

Few weeks on coravin and it seems to go in a more recognizable direction.

Too young/ closed compared to last year.
True to type.

Unusually dark, lot of presence and substance, low in aromatic finesse and intensity, no polish in texture, has the depth of structure, a very ripe, old-school Burgundy. Very high quality material, much preferable to many commercial Burgundies that do not taste of anything.

2015 vintage on 13.11.18
Purple red transparant. Great Pinot nose. Very subtle wine. Pure as great Burgundy reds are!
