Vin de France Pineau d'Aunis

Old vine d’aunis, long maceration, on leis 11 months... such an interesting bottle! Nutmeg, pepper, watermelon jolly rancher, sage, clove, vanilla, cherry. There’s so much going on. We stopped drinking the bottle to see how his opens up.

Tart and very lovely. I'm sure that's a quality described for some people, but Pineau d'Aunis feels like a part of the family. A slight acidic good friend who's visiting from out of town and you can only put up with for a few days. It's not a daily sipper but it's great when you wanna reminisce.

Very light, sour, funky

So juicy, so fresh. One of my favorite grapes from an incredible producer

Delicious natural red. Very light, dangerously drinkable.

Light and vibrant! Cranberries, sour cherries.

Cranberry, cherry candy, muted spice, light and quaffable

Perhaps my favorite wine of the year thus far. The grape has a royal history and the flavor is the perfect balance of funk, nut, and berry-the great trifecta.
