For the price, great, and lighter than the alcohol content would suggest. Paired it with fried chicken and summer squash salad.

Bovin Dissan 2011. Vranec. Macedonia. Wow!! Talk about big wine! All fruit but with structure and tannin and a serious after bite. Loads of dark fruit, but brooding and sultry, not just flash and no depth. Very complex with hints of anise and paprika. It needs time to breathe and shows even more. Oh by the way, I like this wine in case you had not noticed. Really amazing for $13.

Tons of ripe fruit. Pretty nose.

This wine is very quaffable, higher acidity with nice mellow tannins, soft and easy drinking. Fruity at the beginning, become more mineral after second day with animal notes on the nose - not so cheap in Iceland.
