For an 8 year old Crianza, this is drinking very well. And such a value at only $13 (at Bevmo, no less)! Opens with mushroom and earth notes, but after about 15 minutes the raspberry and black cherry aromas and flavors were front and center. Some bay leaf, wet concrete, tobacco, and rosewater notes. Balanced and food friendly, we devoured this bottle with Mahi Mahi skewers and sautéed mushrooms.
