2006 vintage, showing tremendous amounts of sediment. Decanted for a couple of hours and lovely for it.

It's got that dark, inky, glass-staining hue to it, with the nose showing fig newton cookies and brambly boysenberry notes. The palate is a touch too acidic but overall a really good petite sirah, with chewy tannins and bright, fresh fruit.

Drinking the 2011 in 2017. Deep dark color. Thick long lasting legs. Earthy bouquet, with hints of deep dark fruit. Smooth flavor with low tannins. Earthy for a Pinot.

V11. Hard not to like this one. White pepper and cedar bouquet. Rich blueberry and blackberry fruits with pepper and mocha .Big fruit, chalky finish. Nicely balanced. Good food wine.
