Secco-Bertani Ripasso Valpolicella Valpantena Corvina Blend

Delightful chocolate, black cherry, salt on the nose.

Bummer. Corked. Only slightly, but corked nonetheless. 😔

Nice chocolate flavor, dark berries. A good winter wine.

Rustic smelling with some light cherries. Acidic on the palette with slight bitterness. Medium finish.

The poorer cousin of the Amarone. A bit lighter than an Amarone (definitely not as raisin funky as I like) with hints of a Spanish Rioja on the nose. Fruity and dry, a nice introduction to this Italian.
