I was confused by this rum because I was tasting blind and I was noticing all these different characteristics of certain islands' rums... Makes sense now! Smell: rotting fruit (Jamaican characteristic), slight alcohol. Taste: Earthy, sugar cane, slight dried fruit, nutmeg, light funk. Medium texture. Next time I hopefully I realize my rum is a blend in a blind tasting.

Fairly complex for a light rum. Understand why it is a favorite for tiki drinks.
