Typical northwest IPA but very well done. Obviously they have the best selection of hops available given that the brewery is literally in the middle of their own hop fields. The beer has good citrusy and somewhat grassy hop nose and sweet malt. On he palate, it is well balanced with hop bitterness and slightly sweet and lightly biscuity malt. Very local, so this is an easy go-to beer for me.

Preparation for the start of football season and another NE championship. Like Heady Topper, this beer is MUCH better out of a glass than out of the can. Also better if not too cold. Fantastic creamy mouthfeel and low carbonation, reminiscent of the very best English IPAs. Nice combination of pith, pine, and floral undertones on the palate. Fantastically quaffable and almost immediately it is gone and I'm wishing I had more. Fuck.
