One of my favorite grapes in a surprisingly versatile wine: strong aroma, but mellowed with aeration and breathing. Paired well with crackers and cheese, an asparagus risotto, and even a vanilla frozen custard with fresh berries. Three courses of yummy! (2011 vintage on July 24, 2015)
