2015: Put on your seatbelts, wine lovers! This has many of the classic Petite Sirah qualities: big, bold, and full-bodied. Smells of rich black fruits, black cherry. Additional smells include mossy, wet-forest, vanilla, and tobacco. It’s high alcohol causes a slight burning on the nostrils...interesting and enjoyable! Flavors mirror smells, with a hint of something vegetal on the long-lasting finish. Mouth tingling (literally!). Rich tannins but they are moderated and well-balanced. in summary, a great Petite Sirah at a great price!
